Blessing is a promise of eternal life from God.  It is promise of a life filled with happiness.  It doesn't mean there will always be roses in the garden.  There will be hardships.

A blessing can be a small answer to prayer and the ability to pay one bill.  Blessings require that one live by faith.  It does not require one to be perfect but aspire to be perfect and have a heart that desires this.

Look at David and all his short coming's.  God forgave all of his mistakes.  I believe because in David's heart he truly saught God.  Blessings happen every day.  One has to look for these blessings.  Anyone can discount anything.  However, the next time one has a lucky roll in life, think about what is going on in your life. Are you praying? Are you being positive? Kind to others?

Blessings are happening every day.  Myself I have seen miracles.  One lady with cancer gained 35 pounds she never seemed to shed, while going through chemo.

I could go on and on.  Yet, you either believe in what I have said or not.  If you want personal testimony comment and I will reply.

DO YOU KNOW THIS TERM SPANX? 

I didn't.  The term came up when reading a book, Girlfriends 2.0 by Cindy W. Morrison.  I did have an idea from the context what SPANX might be.

I cringed at first.  Tight hose are not something I like to wear anymore.  At a comfortable middle age (thought I was going to blurt our my age....think again...It is under 100,  90, 80...70...and more but that is all I will tell), I wear the COMFORT  BADGE WEAR TOO MUCH  I guess.

I looked in the theoretically mirror so to speak.  I wouldn't think twice about putting on comfortable spandex bike ridding shorts or neoprene gear for sports appropriate events.

Spandex ridding shorts are really comfortable wants you get used to them and figure out the right size.

The old me would have cringed and said no.  Like a baby closing the mouth, clinching the mouth at the first sign of bad tasting medicine is how I wanted to react to start.

Cindy Wall Morrision's book is all about reinventing one's self.   It isn't about lying about yourself but a new way of presenting yourself.  If I want to be a success at getting my book published, I better listen to some good advice.

My sister Twila, an angel on Earth, usually gives me plenty of advice in the form of older sister commands that come with love.  I am lucky to have her.  She was blessed with a keener sense of fashion and girl side graces than I was.  This doesn't mean that I was a complete gut on this but Twila got the better genes.  I was more of the Tomboy of the two of us.

This Tomboy side came in handy for Twila when things needed fixing or getting dirty was the choice.  Twila would rather stay girl clean. I didn't mind mowing the yard or changing the oil in the car when it was worth the cost to change it yourself.

Therefore, girls and ladies like me that want to cringe or clench at the first sight of tight underwear but think nothing of tight sportswear for appropriate exercise think of it this way.  SPANX IS ONLY APPROPRIATE GEAR TO START THE WAY TOWARDS A FORMAL EVENT CORRECTLY AS YOU WOULD FOR A SPORTING EVENT.  Thus, put on your big girl panties and deal with it via an attitude adjustment. IT really isn't that hard once you put it in these terms.  Plus, you will feel better about social event instead feeling in and out of place!

Why body language intepretation is important, knowing when to hold em!

Sally went with her husband to the doctor over orthopedic and deep vein thrombisis issues.  Sally is completely outspoken.   Maybe considered a little agressive in her personality.  Although, most describe Sally as having a heart of gold and giving as a description of her.

In the visit to the the Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Boxcalif, Sally asks, "Would a massage help?"  Sally is in the medical profession.  She was only thinking of relieving her husband's pain in any way possible.  Sally never dreamed her method would be revealed in simple facial expressions or body lingo.

Now I have to clear up some information here.  Massaging the embolisism is the worst thing that could be done.  Sally was thinking of raising the mood with sexual means.  Sexual  means have been proven to relieve tension and reduce pain.  Sally feels no disgrace about asking but wanted to keep her thoughts privtate.

Dr. Dr.Dr. Boxcalif,, took it to mean Sally might have a thought of getting rid of her husband and says, "Unless you have a plan."

Sally blushes, apparently, smiles and who knows what else but was read like a book by Dr. Dr. Boxcalif.

He smiles and teases Sally.  At the close of the appointment Sally thanks Dr. Boxcalif for taking the case.  Dr. Boccalif is the family Othorpedic Surgeon.

"I will be happy to follow your case or you can go back to Dr. Pat."

Sally jumps in, "We aren't going anywhere, we are staying right here!"

Dr. Boxcalif, still teasing,"No, you two are going home now. You can't stay here."

The morale to this story is body language is important and being read like a book very easily can get one in trouble.  Not knowing how to read or understand body lingo means a person misses a lot.  I have heard language is 93% body language.

A food for thought tale on the lighter side.
